New Patients

Longwood Pediatrics is accepting new patients.

To become a new patient at our practice, please review the information below.

For Expecting Parents

Parents expecting a child can pre-register at our practice to review the hospital rounding process and timeline for your first visit with us. We advise expecting parents to submit a New Patient Request Form once they have finalized their labor and delivery location. Our New Patient Coordinator will then contact you to complete intake and confirm your child's pediatrician.

Please Note:  Longwood Pediatrics physicians round at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Parents delivering at these hospitals will be greeted by one of our physicians post-delivery.

For Transfer Patients

If your child is transferring care to Longwood Pediatrics from another primary care provider, request a transfer of medical records to our office.

Additional medical records can be uploaded using MyChart, our patient portal. Speak to our New Patient Coordinator about accessing MyChart once you begin new patient registration.

Please Note: Longwood Pediatrics does not take walk-ins. Visits are by appointment only. If your child is sick and needs a new pediatrician urgently, please call our office and speak with the front desk.

Insurance

Insurance coverage will be collected and verified during new patient registration. Prior to submitting a new patient request form, please verify that your insurance coverage is active and in-network. All of our providers are credentialed with the insurance plans we accept.

Vaccines

We encourage all prospective patients to review our practice's vaccine policy prior to submitting a new patient request.

New Patient Request Form

To enroll in our practice, please fill out the form below. Our New Patient Coordinator will contact you within 2 business days to complete new patient intake and schedule your child's fist visit.

Before submitting a new patient request, please be sure to review our vaccine policy and which insurance plans we accept.

If you have questions about this process, or have issues with online access, please call our office and ask to speak with our New Patient Coordinator.
